We go back to the XIXth Century, when the grandfather Joan Rofes, heir of the Gabriel de Darmós House, started the wine activity, planting his own vineyard and making the wine in the ground floor.

He developed this activity in the course of time and his descendants moved the winery to a larger premises, in the center of the village.

The wine evolution of Gabriel de Darmós House has followed an increasing process through history, in spite of all troubles.

He has consolidated the old Gabriel House winery in the current Vinyes d’en Gabriel, with the aim of producing high quality wines.
